If this is a DLP television, it could be getting warm in the room it is in. Usually they will shut down like that when the thermostat detects a certain temperature to save the TV from overheating and damaging components.

If you have a cooler room in the house, see if it still happens.

Here is the manual for the TV

There doesn't appear to be any explanation for it shutting off like that. I've only heard of projector televisions doing that not on models like the one you have.

Perhaps technical support at Philips.com might have some answers for you.

Brakes seizing

Sounds like a sticking caliper. When brakes seize, you can jack up one wheel at a time to see which one is locked up. Then open bleeder to get going again. Replace that caliper. When you wait, it cools down so you can move again.

PS3 wont work

How long were you playing it? if you were playing for a couple of hours, then it could of just overheated, in which case the ps3 will shut itself off suddenly to keep from damaging something. It should work after about half an hour, adequate time for it to cool down, if not, then you might of damaged something.

Laser is getting stuck or jammed or just all out malfunctioning. You need to get an external dvd player this will not be worth the cost of the repair. Sorry...no real fix other than installing brand new drive in your tv.
