As stated in my original post, power and fuses checked and ok. If it was within warranty it would be back at the shop by now..........

You need to check the power supply inside the machine, if there is no power at all is a power problem.

Try this:

Testing a thermal fuse in the heating element.
Unplug the unit from the electrical receptacle.
Remove the pot and basket. Remove or tape closed the water reservoir lid.
Turn the appliance over and remove all screws that secure the case halves. Lift off the case to expose the heating element and controls.
Inspect the control cavity to determine if the solution is simple: disconnected wire, debris, etc. If so, fix, reassemble, and test. Otherwise, continue with the next step.
Use a multimeter to test the warming and heating elements, and the switch, thermostat, and timer .Replace any defective parts or decide to replace the appliance, as appropriate.
Reassemble the appliance and reinstall the pot and basket.
Fill the water reservoir approximately half full, then plug in and turn on the coffee maker to test its operation.
Disassemble and test a percolator coffee maker:

Testing a switch with a multimeter. The switch should get a reading of infinite when off and little or no resistance when on.
Unplug the unit from the electrical receptacle.
Remove the basket, stem, and lid.
Turn the appliance over and remove all screws that secure the base. Lift off the base to expose the heating element and controls.
Inspect the control cavity to determine if the solution is simple: bad seals, disconnected wire, debris, etc. If you find a problem, fix, reassemble, and test. Otherwise, continue with the next step.
Use a multimeter to test the warming and heating elements, and the switch, thermostat, and timer .Replace any defective parts or decide to replace the appliance, as appropriate.
Reassemble the appliance and reinstall the stem, basket, and lid.
Fill the coffee maker to approximately half full, then plug in and turn it on to test its operation.
Hope that helps.........

Hi-

Does it turn on? have you tried replacing the fuse? try a different power surge and cable if you have extra.

And if product is still within warranty, call manufacturer for replacement if steps above doesn't help. Thanks for using Fixya!

Keep us posted for any progress.

Grinder blocked

One posible problem is the coffee shute. This is leading aslo to the passage where you put the grinded coffee and cleaning tablets. This might have be clocked from dry coffee mixed with humitity or steam. So you can use a bending brush similar to the one used to clean babes milk bottles and at the same time vacum with air vacum cleaner.
You can make perfect cleaning if you remove the top platic panel and visual check that everything are perfectly cleaned.
The last thing that is possible for the problem is weak ginder motor which have lost its power so it can grinds but not have the power to push the grinded coffee all the way through chute to the coffee group. In this case you will need new grinder motor.
Hope that this can help you, good luck.

Dcc-1200 not working

Probably dead, but:

Here is the basic troubleshooting for the Cuisinart coffee makers:
Make sure all baskets are in proper place – especially if unit is beeping.
Do not use a paper and a gold-tone or other permanent filter at the same time.
Unplug for LONGER THAN 15 full minutes to reset.
Clean by brewing 2 oz of distilled white vinegar/2 oz water.
If these methods fail, the unit probably requires replacement – call Cuisinart as they have a longer-than-standard warranty.

No coffee comes out from the coffe machine

The grind may be too fine. The Brew unit is plugged and needs service. The spout joining the boiler to the brew unit is broken. The unit may be plugged with scale.

Won't make coffee-doesn't appear to turn on.

Same thing here, just call the 1-800-726-0190, they will send you out a new one. You'll have to pay a $10.00 shipping and return the old one. You should have your new coffee maker in 7 - 10 days, customer service was nice and very helpful. No complaints here except, what do I do for coffee for the next 7 - 10 days?????????? LOL
