How to fix blue screen of death on a dell latitude d610

The causes are bad device driver, virus, windows files have been corrupted, or the hard drive has failed. The only option is attempt a complete recovery of your operational sytem with a fresh install of windows, If this fails have the hardware checked for possible replacement.

Reinstalling windows xp

You'll need a operating system disk that is the same as what is on your system (Xp Home, XP Professional). Put the disk into the CD Drive and when the system comes up Select Install. Hit F8 to accept the license agreement. Afterwards the system will look for already installed versions of Windows. If you want to keep your data, documents, music, pictures, videos and programs select to do a Repair of the windows system it found. If you want to wipe out everything just don't select the repair option.

Pc won't accept printer via usb connection

So why won't it accept the printer? Is the printer and your operating system on the computer compatible? Did you install the printer and drivers? Are you sure the USB Port works?
Have you tried a different USB Port?

Click Start/Control Panel and look for Printers. Open it and make sure you don't have more than one instance of the printer installed. If you do, then you're confusing the computer. You can also check to see if more than one of the same printer is installed by opening a word document, then click File, then Print, and when the print window opens up click the Down Arrow on the line that shows the printer name. This will show you all other installed printers.

From this link you can purchase the original Recovery Disk for your Computer.

If you do not want to purchase the Recovery Disk then you may use some search engine like Google to search the "Recovery Disk for PCG-K33".

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

Hey i have a dell xps m140and i will like to reboot my compture to factory setting can anyone help

If you have the recovery disk is as easy as putting the disk into the drive and reboot. However, if you don't have one, and you have not deleted your recovery partition you may create a recovery disk form there, or may even be able to tell the computer to restore itself there for you. If you have none of the above you may try contacting dell about a recovery disc.

I found this information on Everex web site, it didn't help me may be it works with you.
To restore Windows Vista™ Home Basic back to its original state you may use the Recovery DVD provided with your original system or by pressing the "F8" key during system boot.

Hello

A new XP install,
If you have the original xp disk,
Insert the disk to the computer your setting up,
Turn on the power and let the system recognise the disk is in the tray.
It will prompt you and ask if you want to install the XP OS
Accept this and follow the prompts,
Windows will install itself over the old OS,
When completed it will then ask if you want to register the windows now or later.you choose and move on.
Activate windows now and the system will be funtional and ready to use....
Only other important thing to remember is to set up Computer Protection of some sort and have fun....

Hope this helps. Please let us know the outcome ,Thanks

Acer travel/mate 5310 don´t accept HP dectjet 6940

Hi Joan,

First please uninstall all of your printers drivers and anything that related to that printer (so that we can start fresh like you just bought it.)

What I suggest you do is:

1st the download necessary vista driver download for your printer to your desktop .

2nd plug the printer in which will then in turn run the New Hardware Wizard.

(if the wizard doesn't run then right click My Computer> Manage > Device Manager > select and right click the printer (which should have a yellow question mark [?] > update drivers.

3rd Once the wizard opens then select any option (because you already have the drivers downloaded) hit Next > then use the second option which is Install From a Specific Location > navigate to your desktop then select the driver that you downloaded and everything should work.

i recommend that you download your drivers from here. just because the disk provided by hp are not well equipped sometimes.

let me know how it goes.

Please if you have the time rate me on my solution. If i fixed it then please rate me on it! ^_^
