Danby dehumidifiers are craps - I have been trying to buy an used dehumidifier. I've looked at several for sale on Kijiji and Craigtslist - the majority of them is by Danby - None of them works. Fan and compressor run but no condesation occurs at the coil i.e. no water dripping into the bucket. Solution: scrap it. Refilling the gas costs more than a new dehumidifier. They are not made for refilling like the compressor in a car.
