Question about Edirol UA-4FX External Sound System

My computer keeps telling me that i have no sound device

I just want to find out how to get a soud device on my computer so i can use it thank you veronicaickes
i have no sound on the comp
and i instill new windos and nothing happen
i want to instel a new sound dives work with my windos
my wimdos is xp sp2 scorpione

    had to use recovery disk to get rid of virus. wheb Irestarted the computer it said no audio output device is installed. I downloaded the drivers but still have no sound at all.

if you mean that you cant get any sound on your computer
click start control panel sounds and audio,volume you can adjust the volume or advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers or
audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have selected the right speakers or
control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll to sound,video and game cotrollers could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it

It says no soud device and no sound coming out of speakers


the drivers might have been corrupted by something or you might have got a virus run your antivrus program and test for a virus then
you might have to uninstall then reinstall either the sound drivers or the sound card make sure you have both of these devices baked up to a disc before uninstalling
a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver right click to install driver
as for the sound

How can I return the audio of my PC? I reformat it and after the reformatting it's audio and soud disappear.

How to find audio divice driver on windows xp.no audio divice on my com


The sound device is software usually located on the mother bord install disk. else see what kind of sound the board takes and got to their , for instance realtec, sound company, web site and download the audio device and the driver , if you don't have the MB CD.

No audio device


Hi,

You can download and install PC wizard which will determin what devices/drivers you have installed for all your pc parts.

download here:

http://www.cpuid.com/download/pcw2008_v184.exe

Once installed, run it and click on the audio-icon button, under the device listing, it should show some kind of model number (i'm hoping), from there that might shed some insight into which drivers you need.

In the meantime, I will try and find drivers for the Creative Labs sound blaster card you list in the topic.

Dual Soud card issue


On windows you cannot direct sound out to more than one device at the time, unless you use particular devices (external audio devices etc.) therefore it is impossible to do this
