I had the same problem about two weeks after i got the darn computer. Gave it back to best buy they had it for like two months and they did nothing for it and mind you this was BRAND NEW. They ended up having to give me a new lap top. But don't think that you are out of the woods just yet had the same problem with this one also. they say it is media player trying to be the default player but if you have media center then that is really the default player. So it is a conflict between them you have to go in and set only one as default player and the other one off should help. I also have the problem were the battery only last for if i am lucky 1 hour. Now i have the problem it ain't even coming on at all. Think that the mother board is bad. If you notice to the left of the mouse it get really hot and the power supply would also get almost burning hot. I had to buy a laptop fan just to keep it cool. Best thing to do is TAKE IT Back and have them reset it all to the default setting should wipe that out.

I have a kustom kpm7200 that sounds distorted even at low levels.

That is like asking which grain of sand is red. Try checking your input levels, if they are to high this is exactly what you will get. Set all EQ settings to mid point. If the problem is not resolved take it to the tech for repair.

Getting continous beep sound while booting. what could be exact reason and can we resolve it by own??

sounds like you have bad memory. if you have more than 1 memory sticks installed try taking 1 out to see if that was the bad 1 if not install it back and do the same with the other 1 to find which 1 is the bad 1

No sound?

Try resetting the equipment. Without further information - make, model, etc. - we can't make any determination of the exact problem and solution. If resetting doesn't resolve the problem, please update with more information.

Sound problem

If the sound drivers are shown over there in the machine then the issue might be in the h?W.
First install the UAA driver from downloading it from then install the sound driver issue should be resolved.

Problem hdmi connection

Hello, I'm from the Netherlands and I had the exact same problem with my philips lcd...

So what I did, was upgrading the software of my videocard (,this resolved my problem of giving a error on my laptop and restarting.

Then I got the message on my tv: "video not supported' , this I don't know exactly how i resolved this, but i tried fn+f4 a couple times. If that doesn't work you have to do something with the nvidia control panel (right click on desktop).

So now i had picture, but no sound.

To enable sound from your laptop to your tv you have to go to control panel>sound> set the SPDIF to your standard sounddevice and tick the box with wma audio something, tick out the other boxes.

I hope this will resolve some of your problems and others who have the same problem.
