Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

Hi on my hp psc2110 all in one ,I have just replaced an old black ink cartridge with a new one .I have tried several times to print and scan.But the error message :Remove and check right cartridge:still appears .Please can you help thanks.

    I have the exact same problem the printer will work at all- how do you fix this?

Most likely some problem with the cartridge itself.
if you are using "aftermarket" cartridges, that is usually why the printer doesnt full recognise it...if using a real hp cartridge, there might be a problem with the little circuit board (that is under the tape strip when new)...try returning it to the store where you bought it and asking for a replacement.

i've quite come across this kind of problems many times. Simply replace your cartridge with new ones or try that old one to dip its head in the hot water for sometime.

"E", doesnt print scan or copy


Ink has dried inside the printer.
Assuming the printhead is seperate from the cartridge, i would inject JR Inkjet flush into the old cartridge and put it back into the printer. Leave it to stand for an hour or two, then run several cleaning cycles.
Once the ink comes through (if it does) replace your new cartridge and clean again until the print quality is restored.
If this does not work. Then i expect a new printhead is required. (i would try the first suggestion repeatedly).

HP 1315 printing real slow


If there are a compatiable black cartridge
replace this cartridge with your old empty cartridge and print a test page (don't mind about printing of black )
If speed is correct,
then replace the black cartridge with another new cartridge.
(some time compatiable black cartridge not work properly to flow ink)

Black not printing, other colors fine, replaced cart and deep cleaned several times, no result


Assuming genuine ink cartThis worked for me on a HP printer 1.Try print black text ,and run many copies black only. I ran 25x12 times still no black. Run head clean after about each 50 sheets. Persevered and finally BLACK ink OK

HP L7590 black ink printing poorly even with new HP cartridge


I have had the same problem It is the print head not the cartridge If your printer is still under warranty have the printhead(s) replaced if not Open the unit where the print heads are and hold the OK button for 5 seconds. The Print head carriage will move to the left

Carefully remove the KY (Black & Yellow) Print head with a cotton swab and alcohol clean the contacts and replace the printhead. If this does not work remove the printhead and then with a spray bottle spray the nozzle area on the bottom (DO NOT TOUCH THE NOZZLES AS THEY WILL BE DESTROYED) HP techs have told me this will void any warranty so act accordingly I use a printhead cleaning solution available from most any online ink supplier

Replace the printhead after it has dried out (less than a minute). The printer will then go through an alignment cycle and should print I had to do this several times before the print head performed as it should

Has your cartridge been sitting a while in the box, maybe in a warm spot? Some times even new cartridges dry out a little. Was your old cartridge low or completely gone? Just as a test, if you put it back in your printer does the old cartridge work? Any printer error messages? Can you print a test page or an alignment page for your black cartridge? These might be too many questions but here are some HP support links with some How To information for getting more answers. Problem printing with HP Business inkjet 1200


I have a HP Business Inkjet 1220 Printer, and the block ink cartridge light is flashing. I replaced the cartridge with a brand new one, closed the door, and black ink light is still flashing. I put in another neew black ink cartridge, closed the door, and same issue- black cartidge ink light flashing. I cannot print- what to do?
