Hello, I apologize right now that I am not quite tech savvy, but then again Im a housewife so what would you expect?
I was getting so irritated with the monitor being stuck on (our toddler is a genius when it comes to renaming hard drives with just a few slaps to the keyboard, and somehow he had locked the power button so you couldnt turn the screen off)
It is an Envision 19" widescreen monitor, and I found how to unlock the button somewhere on google. So all pent up with excitement of finding the answer on my own, I pressed the down button and the power button at the same time and it worked. The screen turned off.
Now this morning I log on and as Im going through the OS loading the screen looked perfectly normal, but as soon as windows was fully loaded. It kicked the display to the right and now I have a good 2" of blackness on my screen.
I turn it off and back on, and when it first comes on it looks normal for a few seconds and then it just slides over. Please help!
Turn on the on screen menu by pushing the number (1) button. Go down the menu to the memory recall function and Push the number (2) button to reset all the controls to factory settings. This should return you monitor to it normal function. If this does not solve your problem, you can call Envision customer support at this telephone number. 1-888-838-6388. They should be able to help you solve the problem. I hope this information helps you with your problem.
