Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Powered subwoofer. When i plug it in it will power on and then turn off right away with no further signs of life. I have replaced the fuse a couple of times but this time it did not help. Does it sound like the power supply is bad or transformer??? Do you have any suggestions on where I can get parts for the paradigm subwoofer. Let me know.
It turns out its most likely one of the resistors on the PCB on the amplifier plate.
My uncle has had the same problem and managed to replace the resistor and its working as normal now.

I have a PS 1000, circa 1995, I have a constant humming sound and it sounds like it has a problem with the volume knob. It will cut in and out when I move the knob, so I'm assuming thats the problem. If one of your subs dies, can I have your volume knob? Just kidding.
