When I have re-painted my bike.. Ive taken in a part to the painter, or local shop. they scan the color and the paint code comes right up. works great, especially because over time the paint is not the same color anymore from the factory, and ...well... i like my bike in 1 color.

otherwise the other easiest way is to call the kawi dealer shop. give them ur bike model, year and they can also give u the factory codes. good luck......PK

I have a light oak aquarium stand and I want to paint it turquoise. How should I do it? Brush, roller or spray? Do I need a primer?

I recommend putting a clear primer on with a brush. For the color itself, I recommend spray paintbecause it is smooth and harder to mess up. Lightly spray one layer and let it dry overnight. Then, spray once more in the morning so that thepaint has had a chance to dry and you can avoid air bubbles. If youdon't feel that the color is consistent enough, wait one more day and spray onefinal layer.

I am an artist very fussy about color. On this Kodak, purple is brownish, blue is ugly greenish, khaki-ish, majenta is orangish, my green eyes are brown, my fair skin is orangish and brownish and greenish....

Hello,

Well as you probably already know the Canon printers do colors particularly well.

I am not experienced with the Kodak printers.

Before you give up a sugest you find out if there are any color profiles available for your printer.

You can try the Kodak webs site or check else where for them online. I would suggest the photographer forums.

(By the way Kodak is known for playing fast and lose with their color profiles so it may be that you will need one from somewhere other than Kodak.

Hope this helps.

Black screen problem with jvc model gr-d850ag

The most likely cause for this is a damaged or defective flexible ribbon cable that connects the LCD to the camera body and can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

Paint Code For my 2006 ZX1400R

There is a plate similar to the compliance and VIN code plates on or about the steering head which provides the colour codes. If you cannot find it, take a note of your VIN (17 digits) and seek "VIN advice" or FAQ colour "your model" thru an engine search.
However, an experienced paint shop can match any colour/media etc. they just charge a little more however. Cheers.

Paint code / colour matching

The Hona code for the paint should be on a sticker on the frame under the seat. A good paint shop should be able to mix the paint from this code.

Painting the tank

and am thinking of spraying them in the silver colour scheme. However did any other colour apart from red ever get imported,Apart from red and silver I know of at least two other colours - Green and a very 70's Turqoise (at least that's the best description I can come up with). I re-sprayed the green one I had to black, but still have the turquoise tank and panels.,,,
