Phillips 42" with moving red spa...

Am thinking of replacing the Power Supply for the reason you mentioned, ppl have mentioned that the caps go bad after 1000 hours, and I'm thinking that's easy to replace too (is there a safe/easy way to discharge them.. a light bulb maybe?) You also mentioned a possible adjustment, do you know what voltage one would measure and adjust to try and eliminate this red snow? Replacing the logic board did nothing, have ordered the X-sustain board, next the Y.. but are these not involved in the red snow effect? OK, fixing this plasma is not as easy as fixing a scratch built PC.. I learned that much...:) 40$ for advice that works... u got a paypal or po box? :)
