Batterey wont charge, charging port real loose. Is this part of the hard drive, or can the port just be replaced?

Hello Sbyv hi, a loose port will definitely wont charge your battery, but before you replace the port, check the AC adaptor DC output, and see if there is DC present.

Problem with compaq c700, is not charging,

Sounds like you need a new charger. If the charger doesnt fix it then try a new battery. Before you buy either one, check the charge port in the back of the laptop, sometimes they crack off and just need a bit of solder to make a good connection to the motherboard.

Hi, My Gateway MX3215 notebook computer no longer powers up with the AC plug. The battery was 5% and the AC plug was connected when the computer died, and it has not come back since. I have plugged in the...

Make sure you have power at the wall outlet (Dumb question, but I have to ask). If your AC power cable is detachable from the laptop transformer, make sure it is plugged in tightly. If there is a LED on the transformer, make sure it is on. If you have a voltmeter, check for DC voltage at the power supply plug where it plugs into the laptop. You should have between about 10 - 14 volts there. If you don't have a voltmeter (or multi-meter), see if you can borrow one.

If your battery was not seated properly or was worn out, then obviously it would not charge, but the laptop should still function off the power supply, so it is probably not a battery issue. If the voltage input and cable condition checks out okay, then it is probably a bad power supply.

Toshiba satellite pro a200 The laptop has stop recharging, i don't know if its the battery or the adapter or the actual laptop with the problem? please help!!!

First do not remove battery and use charger only. Lets start at the beginning first if you are using a UK three point plug check the fuse in the plug. Next some adaptors have a small green light on when connected to the mains. Another way to check the adaptor is, if you no someone with a multi meter (used to check voltages etc) get them to check if there is a reading from the end you plug into the computer should read 19volt. That would check your charging adaptor. Battery well if adaptor is charging then it is almost likely to be your battery.
If you have to replace the battery take it with you when you go for the replacement and ask them to check it in another laptop if they wont do this go elsewhere.
By what you say you have a fault with the adaptor.
Good luck
