Hi
If you go to start>>>Control Panel then 'Add/Remove Programs' you should uninstall windows media player from there and then download and install it again from here.

Reinstallation is all I can suggest with the information you have provided. I might be able to help you further if you give more information...

Hope what I've said helps
Philip

Uninstall then reinstall it.

To do this, go into control panel, add/remove programs. Click on add/remove windows components. Uncheck the windows media player then click okay. Go back into it again and recheck it, and it will reinstall taking care of your problem.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.

I do not know how to add music to my mp3 player.

Hi crystal 1299...

Downloading Music to MP3 Player

1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer.
NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11.
If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10.
2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer.
3...Open Media Player on your computer.
4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player.
5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your data cord, besure Windows Media Player is on.
6...Windows Media Player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it.
7...After it is synced with the computer, you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player.

I cannot hear any sound when playing media music player

Check whether your speakers are on mute. Check your sound card - have you got one? Is it broken? Check volume of speakers. Maybe uninstall and reinstall Windows Media Player.

Sync with Windows media player 11

Yes i know syncing is the easiest way to hook up archos to download files have you tried manually like drop & drag the files into the video folders? Some video formats work even in the new archos series some don't & you have to buy plugins. I personally didn't like using windows media player it reminds me too much of itunes

Mp3 player

1) Disconnect from computer, turn it off, hold in volume + button and reconnect it to your computer - continue holding volume + until the Found Hardware Wizard comes up.

2)
REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your iLo player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "ILO 2GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and give you a fresh start.

Broken software

The software should be available on Samsung's website. However, I have installed several of these with only the latest version of Windows Media Player installed. Open Windows Media Player and connect the YP-T to your computer. It sould then find the drivers and be ready for use.

Error message when I try to play a cd,dvd or rip

Before we try blaming a faulty cd/dvd unit lets check out faulty Windows Media Player Software. Is Media Player up to date? Try installing iTunes set as default. That will force the cd/dvd association to iTunes. See if the player works or what the error is...If it works...Then re-open Media player make it the default again and see it what it does. or This is from the Microsoft site: Windows Media Player cannot find the file. This error message usually indicates the link from an item in Media Library to its associated digital media file is broken. Items in Media Library are links to digital media files that are stored on your computer, a network drive, a removable storage card, an Internet server, or another location. Links can be broken for one of the following reasons: * A link to a temporary file from the Internet cache (for example, a file from the Temporary Internet Files folder) was added to Media Library and that file was later deleted. * A link to a digital media file was added to Media Library and the file was later deleted. To repair a link Do one of the following: * If you deleted or moved the file, replace it to its original location. * If you moved the file, right-click the item in Media Library, click Error Details, and then enter the new location of the file. To delete a link Do one of the following: * Right-click the item in Media Library, click Error Details, and then select the Remove file from Media Library check box. * Right-click the item in Media Library, and then click Delete from Library. Good Luck, Tim
