I put halo reach in and the game says it wont load the campaign (the game failed to start for an unknown reason) the game is not damaged help!!!1

Does it show the disk when you load it. Like is it just saying tray open. What model 360 do you have. I know if you have the ones without a hard drive you cant play certain parts of the game. Like multiplayer. I think even the campaign, but I could be wrong. If your xbox is saying tray open when you load the game. Your probably getting hardware error. Happened to my old one. If you have other games try and load them. See if this is only happening with Halo Reach.

Theres is incurrupt data on your hard drive so you have to use another hard drive or 250g memory card to navigate through the levels starting from first skull to last . it will take you about hour and half considering your skill!

did you download something and stop it in the middle of the download or downloaded a map pack and forged on it and saved it then deleted the map pack.

your halo 3 disc is scratched. I can't see how big the scratch is but a minor scratch will allow you to play some campaign missions. My suggestion would be to borrow a friends halo 3 disc and install it to your hard drive. This solution would allow you & your friends to play campaign together

ok you got to buy a new disc or try cleaning yeah i did that and solve it also if that didnt work buying a new memory unit and disconnect your hdd so now u dont have a hdd but you got a portable memory

hold down the sync button and turn on your xbox (while still holding sync) untill it boots all the way. now goto settings > memory > games > halo 3 and delete all downloadable content and boot halo 3 if you get an update allow it and if everything goes well you should be able to get to campagne and eveything then redownload all downloadable content. some updates mess with the DL content and the holding of the sync while booting clears all failed updates and redownloading should reconfig the files to work wih the update. Hope this helps.

you need to put your ***** in the disc hole

redownload all maps and blow air into inside of xbox or clean disk and check for scratches. if that doesn't work you were either banned or need a new game data will be same disk might be ****.!!
