Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I want to cancel my norton

When you sign up for Norton, Symantec puts you in their 'Automatic Renewal service', every year they'll bill you to use their anti-virus product.

You should call customer support @ 1-800-745-6034 and ask for a refund if you no longer want to use the product.

If you want to continue using the product, but just disable the auto-renewal service:

1. Sign into you Norton Account :
https://account.norton.com/amsweb/default.do
2. Click Automatic Renewal
3. Click Off
4. You'll get a prompt, then click Confirm 'Turn Off''

Signed up for renewal subscription but can't activate it. i may have a virus on my computer

Hi,

If you have purchased the renewal for Norton Antivirus you van click on renew now and enter the renewal code that you have recived in the e-mail of the purchase.
If you suspect virus on the computer go to the website www.norton.com/npe there you will get a Tool called Norton Power erasor Tool , You can Download and install that Tool . Then you can run that tool . Run a scan including registry scan .

I have renewal code for my Norton 2009 but unabe to renew

I have always hated norton. Its annoying, costs money, uses lots of memory and does a crappy job at finding viruses. I would recommend AVG antivirus. Don't worry its free and there is no dumb codes to enter.

My sons computer crashed and I had to have it repaired. Unfortunately they wiped everything out including my Norton which I just renewed a few months back. What can I do to reinstate this without having to...

BACKUP,BACKUP,BACKUP....all data was probably lost when it crashed...as far as your Norton, contact them...they will have your subsciption on file and let you download...if you have the Norton disk, and hopefully you have the serial #, just reload and enter this long number when it asks you for it

Norton rescue disk removal

Your best bet is to go to CNET.com and download a program named Revo Uninstaller. It's free and will clear out everything down to the depths of the registry.

If even Revo doesn't see it, I would reload Norton on your system, then uninstall with Revo.

System reboots

Dear sir,
I will request you to first change your Anti virus. I have personally used Norton, and I have found AVG free version detects and clean more viruses which Norton has not notified as threat. For getting back to your PC in normal stage you may windows Restore utility. It is very useful. you can find it in Start>Programs>accessories>system tools>system restore. Please restore to a date when you think your PC was in good state.
Please rate me if you are satisfied with my answer,in case, if you want any clarification please get back to me.

Hi,
Sometimes when reinstalling Norton, or just renewing the license, it uses some of the data from the previous installation.

Check the Symantec website for specific problem first, you are not the first guaranteed!

The best and assured method is to download the Norton Removal Tool and remove all products, just uninstalling won't do it. Then reinstall (you may find you have another years subscription!). Be sure to save your license information before total removal.

A few notes:
Norton is the best, the 400 lb gorilla on the block. Some will try to convince you otherwise. I wont enumerate the reasons, but it does what it is supposed to, and many, many users use it successfully.
Don't renew, buy new! There is usually not a big cost difference between the renewal, and the latest program. You don't gain much in effectiveness but you do get the latest user interface and program improvements.
