Question about Sony VAIO VGN-UX280P Notebook
Everytime i turn on my UX280P i shows a white screen and it nevers leaves I cannot see anything at all. What is causing this and how can i get rid of it.
> The display of a sudden gave up....I recall that there is some kind of short cut to enable an external monitor.
Dunno about a shortcut but often the VGA port has to be enabled in the BIOS which you may not be able to see right now but the control of the display is primitive under Win starts doing it's *magic* so text may still be visible. I'd try entering the BIOS menu and snoop around.

SOURCE: White Screen Of Death
Most likely the problem is the screen or other hardware errors.
If it is the screen, then you should be able to see the Hard drive activity LED flashing as things load.
