Question about Cameras
I'm using an SD card in my digital camera. I can review the pictures on the camera fine, but when I try to transfer them to the computer, they're either not recognized (using windows explorer) or said to be corrupt )kodak easy share software. Kodak's website says to reformat the sd card, but i have about 100 pics and don't want to lose them all.
I would not format your memory card if you want to save your images. One thing you could try is instead of transferring the images to your computer with your camera you could try using a memory card reader that connects to a USB port. If this doesn't work you could try going to the my computer menu while either the camera or the card reader is connected to your computer and right clicking on the icon for the camera or the reader and choose open. This should open all the files on the memory card and you could try copy and pasting all the files into a folder on your desktop. After you have successfully transferred your images to your computer then I would definitely format your memory card in your camera. I hope this helps!
