SOURCE: I have have this TV for almost 3 yrs..now have a shaded area on the left side

The dark side of the screen causes of the lamp alignment or prism glass alignment. This is critical you have to consult your LG technician to do this. But if you have any background o repair consult the service manual. Please careful not to touch the prism quarts so that you maintained the clarity of picture and brightness on the screen.

Hi there

Simply go into the menu and flip it back in the subfolder that will either read Mirror or Horisontal / Vertical Positioning

SOURCE: Picture is upside down on screen

go into the menu using either your remote or the button on the projector itself. At the top are several options i.e. "picture" scr-adj. Click over to the right ONCE to "SCR-ADJ" this stands for source adjust. Then look for something called like PRJ mode (projection mode) This tells the projector which direction to display the image so that incase you want to hang it from the ceiling upside down you can. Click down to that menu option. You will then have to click over to the right in order to see your options. If you are using it hanging on a ceiling you want it to say "ceiling front" if it is merely sitting on a cart or a shelf just put it on "front".

Good luck.

I replaced the lamp on my NEC LT280, but am unable to reset the lamp so that the projector works again.

Whe the lamp exceeds 2100 hours (up to 3100 hours in ECO mode) of service, the projector cannot turn onand the menu is not displayed. If this happens, press the HELP button on the remote for 10 seconds to reset the lamp clock back to zero. When the lamp clock is reset to zero, the LAMP indicator goes out.

Will not turn on. power light is orange

Many projectors will not turn on, or will turn on and immediately shut down, when the lamp needs replacing. How long has the projector been in use? Most lamps say they're good for up to 2000 hours, but in my experience they're only good for 1400 to 1500 hours. Also, check that the electrical cord is attached tight.

Go to the setup menu and change the orientation. You will have a number of choices. ex. Ceiling front, ceiling rear. Select the position that the projector is mounted and the picture will reorient and display correctly.

Try clicking the "Detect Displays" button. That *may* do it.

Good luck!

Hi yaali

Try using a different cable.

If the problem however persists , then you will have to get the Mainboard either repaired or replaced.
