Do you have a microphone? If you do, and it is near the speakers, it will echo a lot. Also, check your soundcard settings. If there is an option for room ambience or environment effects, make sure you have them disabled.

It stopped producing sound one day. If I turn the speakers all they way up to ten it will kinda work but it's quiet and it should be really loud.

You don't give anywhere near enough info, so the best I can suggest is to check the amplifier speaker output fuses. Sometimes blown fuses will cause this.

Check your audio settings and see if your microphone is muted, if it isn't try muting the microphone and see what happens.

what OS? windows, and What windows, XP?
HP sold it with 7 different OS, (xp to w7 ./32/64bit) and linux.
I cant know what you use for sound at all.
the PC has sound chip and 2 speakers and mic.,
external speakers, or sound buds, what? tell what you have first.
4510s tells little.
if you have U
SB headphones there, it WILL mess up.
USB adds a 2nd sound chip set and they clash with onboard set.
in fact buying new headphones with USB sound and boom mic built in
then going in to device manager and disabling the onboard sound
makes the head phones work real well.
its not metal bs. sorry. that is jive.

i the sound test fails, then it failing that you can be sure.

if no bud, or headphones of any kind
and only internal speaker ;.mic is used
then down load the drivers from HP for you sound
is that hard?

I bought a Behringer Eurolive B1220 Pro speaker with my PA system brand new and it sounded great at first. Now it sounds really muddy (the other 2 speakers I bought work fine) almost as if the horn has...

Bad news...you've blown the tweeters. Overdriving the mixer/amp creates distortion on the amplifier which heats up the speaker voice coils and eventually causes damage. Because of their small diameter voice coil windings the tweeters fail first (opens up like a fuse element does) followed by the woofer making a scraping sound (deformed voice coil) or not working as well. Warranty service because you blew out the tweeters? Don't get your hopes up.

1. PLEASE use enough power for the venue that you have. A high powered system will run all night at 10:00 (physical volume knob setting) than an underpowered system set for 2:00.

2. Get speakers off the ground and closer to your audience's ears. Audio from speakers on the floor must battle surfaces that actually absorb some of the sound....carpet, drapes, etc. And besides, legs can't hear that well.

Feed back thru external speaker, very bad

Have your antenna checked at a place that knows what they're doing. If your antenna system is bad, ground problem, coax bad mount or maybe just a wrong or bad antenna. Then the sounds not getting out the antenna and its feeding back thur the radio. If your echo board was bad then your radio wouldn't transmitt at all.
If you unplug your external speaker will it squeal? If not do the antenna and if that reads fine just try a better speaker like a uniden 20watt speaker.I own a CB shop and this is easy to fix.

Unbalanced sound

hello there!
First things First
1) you got a 5.1 sound card?
2) Direct X 9.c installed?
3) On control panel and multimedia, change to 2 speakers, that should work.
ano other than these is a bad pair of speakers! time to buy new ones.

NO SOUND!

Hi

Pls check if the audio cable from the monitor is connected to the tower. Make sure it is connected to the green port at the back.
Also check the volume button on the side of the monitor and set it to maximum.

If this doesnt work, then try with another pair of external speakers and check.

Can't hear voice of singer on speakers, more of an echo sound

Hello Shemon
Well, there is 2 option here, 1) your sound speakers are not connected corretly or in the right slots on the sound card.
2) your sound card, (internal or external) you have to use the mixer on software to put the right channels for the music you heard. try configuring in control panel, in multimedia devices, the speakers. for 5.1 system, or 2 way speakers or 3
try again

Sound problem

Sounds silly but, try muting your built in microphone, because i'l bet, the mic is picking up the sound from yours speakers and causing the echo. That's wot i've found on a few occassions. Other than that, check sound and video drivers by click Start>Run, then type in 'dxdiag' (without quotes) this will run a diagnostic on audio and video. Please rate this solution
