Question about KDS Radius RAD-7 17" Flat Panel LCD Monitor
You have the same problem I am fixing on my KDS K917s monitor. Some days it takes 5 mins to turn on others days 5 hours. The unit powers up, screen is black and green LED on front flashes.

Have you checked your video card or adapter?
Check the settings on the monitor itself.
If you didn't find the problem go into system properties (windows logo + pause)/hardware/device manager. Expand monitor/right click and see if your new monitor is listed. Is there a yellow or red symbol next to it? This would mean a problem, then right click symbol/properties and error will be shown.
Could be a memory issue.
Don't forget to try a "working monitor". This will narrow it down a bit.
