I have a Panasonic PT 47WX51E Projection TV I have this BLUE rainbow shape full across the bottom up one third the way. I have been told the convergence ic's need replaced. The picture is fine other than this "rainbow" and below the rainbow the whites turn a yellow & those whites show up in that rainbow as some sort of bright blue streched shadow. I have researched this for two days and feel it has to be the two parts STK 392 110 that need to be changed. I just dont want to waste the time and money if it is not the problem or if it could be something else. Thanks in advance for the help.

Well it is probably the convergasnce needs set not parts when did you last have it serviced? these tvs need serviced every 3 years or so but can last longer basically in the back there are 20 odd thing like volume controllers that adjust the color and convergence ect you just need to get a tv service person out to service it then it will be like new again it will cost around 120 pounds but will definitely be worth it but don't attempt it yourself its not for people that are not trained believe me i tried and mines was out so much it couldn't be fixed lol but its worth every penny my friend just had his done after 5 years and its like new again i say 120 pounds but don't quote me it should be cheaper most tv repair company do it get the phone book out i hope this helped and i would like to know how you get on but don't worry calling out a repair man cant hurt im 99 percent positive that will be the problem but if not at-least you will find out if its not for free!!
