Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
I keep getting an F02 error message - the repair guy said it might need a new pump - he can't see anything else wrong but when he was here the pump worked fine. The message only comes on sporadically.
First thing to do here is take out the filter and clean out the grunge and gookus. If you find lots of stuff in there like pencils, nails, coins, etc., then it’s possible that these things have damaged the pump impeller. You can tell this visually by peering intently into the suction port of the pump with a flashlight. If any of the impeller vanes are broken off or if the impeller is jammed, then you need a new pump.
Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running. Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
Hope this helps
