I recently purchased a Panasonic KXTG7532B phone. I have received 2 messages from it since 01/07/11, that's very few for me. Today I was home when 3 calls came in from the same source and since I was curious why no messages had been left I answered the third one. My employer wanted to tell me not to work today. Then I called my home # using a cell phone; none of my messages were recorded and the beep signalling me to leave a message was very long and was followed by the wierd sounds I've heard when faxing material. I've rechecked all the settings, they're all on and both phones agree. What can I do to fix this?

I solved the problem myself by turning off my fax machine. Thanks.

Hello,

what you need to do is to reset the phone memory so has to help your phone in indicating or displaying your messages receive from friend

If your Panasonic phone is experiencing some minor glitches, you may want to consider resetting the phone to its factory default settings. This is also useful for cleaning up clutter on the phone, giving you a fresh slate for new pictures and contacts on your Panasonic model mobile telephone. Just remember to back up any important items beforehand, as resetting your cell phone will delete all information housed on the device.

Instructions

  1. Press the "Menu" button. This button is not labeled. It is the button at the very top right-hand corner of your phone's keypad.
  2. Use the arrow keys to highlight "Reset Defaults." This is found near the bottom of the menu options.
  3. Press the "Select" key. This is the unlabeled button at the very top left-hand corner of the phone. As explained by the Panasonic user manual, a message will appear, prompting you to confirm the action. This is to safeguard against accidental resetting, because resetting your phone will delete all your saved personal information.
  4. Press the "Menu" button to confirm that you want to reset the phone to its factory conditions. Your phone will now reset and revert to its original factory settings.
Good luck and thanks for using fixya.

I recently purchased a Panasonic phone system, model KX-TG9344. It did not come with the optional wall mount adaptor. Where can I purchase this adaptor? Thank you

It's available on the Panasonic website (http://www.pasc.panasonic.com/EpartR/PartsList.asp) for under $2 plus shipping, but for some strange reason can only be purchased during business hours.

I HAVE A PANASONIC STEREO SYSTEM, MODEL#SA-PM11 THAT I PURCHASED WITHIN THE LAST FEW YEARS BUT I RECENTLY MOVED AND SOME HOW THE POWER CORD THAT PLUG'S INTO THE BACK MUST HAVE FOUND A NEW HOME-----HOW...

This is a standard cord for "Panasonic" units. It is essentially D shaped with an indent. Any electronics store should have these as universal replacement cords. They should cost $3-$5.

NO DISC message

I assume that problem is dirt on laser lenses. If you don’t get any result after this, than you can replace receiver with new one. If you want to use your existing speakers with new receiver with integrated amplifier, you must pay attention on wattage, to be same like old one (i.e. 100W), and also resistance (i.e. 4 ohm). If it’s same like old receiver, you should have no problem. Good luck.

NO DISC message

Open up the unit and clean the lens using a cotton swab and alcohol. If that does not resolve the problem, try a music CD and report the results here. I suspect that the optics have begun to fail. If that is the case, the music CD will play but a DVD will not. The optics assembly is available (part # RAF3023A-1) for about $60.

MMS messaging on RZR phone

I will need to know your who your service provider is to help you. Yet, I can suggest that you go to your service providers website and go to the support section. Then look for MMS profiles or settings. Many of the providers will send the settings to fix the problem straight to your phone. This also means that you bought an unlocked phone by the way.
