My hard dive beeps when i make a mistake even though I have disabled all of the sounds in the control panel. Mostly happens on Outlook.

The sound is coming from the speaker that is attached to the motherboard.

Sometimes you can disable the speaker by following these steps:
  1. In Control Panel, System, Hardward
  2. In Device Manager click View and click "Show hidden devices"
  3. This should make "Non-Plug and Play Drivers" visible in Device Manager.
  4. Expand Non-Plug and Play Drivers by clicking the plus and double-click Beep.
  5. Within the "Beep properties" window click the Driver tab.
  6. Under the driver tab if you wish to temporarily disable this device click the Stop button. If you wish to permanently disable this device under the Startup Type select Disable.
Please let me know if this solves your problem or if you would like any additional assistance. Thank you.

Im a fat ****

Why wont it reinstal? have you tried Device manager? looking for your sound component, there should be a yellow explantion mark nest to it, then if you update driver it should automatically find it either on the oc or over the internet? do you have te model of your sound card? maybe i could hunt a driver for you?
