The 7388 is a camera not a music player. You can put music on a memory card, but the camera will not play it back.

I PUT MY USB IN AND DOWNLOADED SONGS ONTO THE FOLDER BUT I HAVE NA IDEA HOW TO GO TO THE MUSIC FOLDER ON MY CAMERA!!! I MEAN ON THE CAMERA HOW TO GET TO THE MUSIC FOLDER ON THE CAMERA, WHERE IS THE MUSIC...

Your camera will use a pre defined directory to store pictures and videos, it will use this same directory to display pictures and play back videos. You cannot change this directory. What you can try and do is add the music to the same directory where your photos and videos are and hope that when you browse through your pictures and videos on the camera that it has a codec capable of decoding your audio files. For the most part at the moment you simply transferred the files onto the memory of the camera, this does not necessarily mean that the camera will be capable of playing those files back. What you can do however, is hook the camera up to another device that is capable of playing the files (like another PC) and transfer your files onto it and play them back there. There is no guarantee that your camera will be able to play back your music files that you have transferred. You will have to find out what file types the camera supports for playback and convert your music files to that if possible (which it may not be).

How do i transfer photos that i have put onto computer, back onto camera which has got a new memory stick, so theres no photos on

Using a computer to put pictures back onto a memory card that will be used in a camera is not a recommended procedure. In most cases, it will corrupt the camera. In some cases it works. Do you really want to take the chance?

I have a vtech kidizoom pro camera and have tried many times to put music onto the camera but it just comes up on the camera as muisc files not found even though when the camera is attached to the computer...

I bought one for my 7 year old. install the cd that came with it first before you attach the usb lead. Open My Computer - find where the Vtech is. then open your computer folder where your music is mp3 mp4a which ever you have highlight the song then then "copy file" select your music folder in the directory where the vtech is located . I do not have an sd card in hers yet. Disconnect turn the dial to the music selector on your v tech make sure the volume is up ! I made that mistake first

Good luck hope it helps

Problem downloading image

One of the images did not finish writing to the card properly (usually in the last 4 or 5 images, or the last video)
Try selecting all but the last 10 images and chose import selected. This should work. Then delete those from the card.
This bit is important
Put the card back in the camera (if it's in a usb reader) if not, disconnect the camera and put it into playback mode. View the remaining 10 images/video.
Try re importing and it should work fine! I've had this problem since ilife '09 and this method always fixes it. It seems to happen when the cards get full. Try not to completely fill a memory card and you should not get the problem.

How do I convert music to mp3 files

Insert the cd into your computer and open it with media player, copy the music onto media player.

Once you have done this, go to 'My Music' folder and copy the songs you have just ripped from the cd onto your memory card. If you cannot find the songs in my music check in the unknown folder (in my music) and it will be in there with the date of copying so you know which folder it is.

I hope this helps

to help prevent corruption, try to safely remove the camera before unpluging from the computer.

How to get music onto the JAZZ DV179

I HAVE THE ANSWER! You need to convert the music files (that are probably in something like WAV format) into a .mp3 music file. Then all you have to do is copy the songs into the mp3 music player on your camera!

Loading Software onto computer

Good news if you are a ME/2000/XP/Vista owner You do not actually need the software to up load images. Remove it- put the disk back in the box- forget you ever had one - and set the camera up to upload. Surprise - Windoze knows how to do it all by itself.

Lost photos

Plug the camera to the computer. Go to where the images are and- go to Edit. Click on select all. Click on Copy. Now go find the Camera Icon- My Computer an extra Icon should have come up like a drive Click on open -right click in the folder - right click select paste. A word of warning It is possible that having got the images to the card - the camera will not recognize them This is because- depending on the software loaded the imaged will have been altered from EXIF[Camera type image] to JPEG[Computer type image] If this is so delete the images on the card and go online to www.convar.com and download PC-Inspector. Install the program on the computer Run it. Select the Camera with card in it and click on recover. Or simply click on camera and click on recover without back loading- except simply to prove a point.
