Question about Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
I was recently given a Russell Hobbs combination filter, cappuccino and expresso coffee maker without a manual.
I understand how to make filter coffee, but do not understand why the filter container only allows you to put a maximum of 6 scoops of coffee at a time. One scoop of coffe per 100ml of water yields 3 average cups of coffee. The coffee jug is huge, how do I overcome the problem of making coffee for more than 3 people at a time?
I cannot figure out where I pour the water into to make expresso/cappuccino. I fill the steamer chamber with water then add 2 scoops of coffee into the filter chamber - this is the maximum amount it will allow me to put in at one time - then I lock the filter chamber into position.
My question to you is : Where does the water come from that drips into the glass recepticle under the filter chamber ? There is a picture indicating a whoosh of steam and the qty that it holds being 2 or 4 on this small glass recepticle.
I HAD A GE CAPPUCCINO/EXPRESSO MAKER GIVEN TO ME WITH NO MAUAL OF ANY SORT THE MODEL NUMBER IS 169069. I REALLY WOULD APPRICIATE HELP WITH THIS THANK YOU...
