"Remover Function"? If you're using Windows, you can go to Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs to uninstall a program.

If you mean something else, please give me a little more explanation of what you're trying to do.

Hi,

Good day. What you can do is you can download a software usually it's called force uninstaller or you can go to google and type force uninstall software on the search bar. What the software do once it's installed on your system is that it remove programs that cannot be uninstall by normal procedure.

Ive use this one before. You can download it from here:

http://www.revouninstaller.com/

>Just download and Install

Then once you open the program just choose force uninstall then you can select fthe program you want to be remove or force uninstall in your computer. Hope this will help you in resolving your issue. Have a great day and thanks for using Fixya

How to download windows xp

Hi,

Good day. There is no link that will allow you to get a legitimate copy of windows xp home edition. Even if there is, you might be having problems after installing it on your computer because it will ask you to enter a license key which is present only on legitimate windows xp installation disc. So it will be better to buy a legitimate copy of Windows to avoid future problem and to avoid your computer from being infected by viruses which usually can be found on download sites. Hope this information will help you a bit. Thanks for visiting Fixya. Have a great day

Note: I tried it once and regret it. You won't be able to use your computer once microsoft detected that you have downloaded an illegitimate copy of windows. It will slowly disable your windows capability to function until you'll force to get a new one again.

I have a acer laptop ASPIRE5520G .My dvd drive does not appear in my computer folder so that i can't use it. Please give me some advise. Thanks.

Hi,

Below is the steps to resolve the issue:

CAUSE: Software that is not Windows Vista capable (such as printer software, CD burning software, and games) may have modified the registry to cause the optical drive to not function.

RESOLUTION: Method 1: Remove the program that caused the issue: If you know which program might be the cause of the issue or the last program you installed, remove the program.
  1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel.
  2. In Control Panel, click Uninstall a Program.
  3. In the Programs and Features window, click to select the program to remove, and then click Uninstall/Change.
  4. In the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.
  5. Follow all onscreen instructions to complete the removal.
  6. Shut down and restart the computer after removal is complete.
Note: Determine whether the computer is working properly. If the issue is resolved, do not load this software again because it will cause the optical drive not to function again. Instead, contact the software manufacturer for a Windows Vista™ capable version.
If removing the program did not resolve the issue, use System Restore. Method 2: Use System Restore to restore to a date before you installed the third party software.
  1. Close any open programs.
  2. From the Windows Vista™ default Start menu, click All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then click System Restore. Note: System Restore can also be opened by typing Start Search keyword: rstrui.
  3. In the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.
  4. In the System Restore dialog box, click Recommended restore, and then click Next.
View Picture Note: If a different restore point is needed, select Choose a different restore point, and then click Next. Select a day and time from the list when the computer was working properly, and then click Next.
    View Picture
  5. In the Confirm your restore point dialog box, click Finish.
    View Picture
  6. In the System Restore dialog box, click Yes. The computer restarts and make the appropriate changes.
    View Picture
  7. After the computer returns to Windows, in the System Restore dialog box, click Close.
    View Picture
Note: Determine whether the computer is working properly. If the issue is resolved, do not load this software again because it will cause the optical drive not to function again. Instead, contact the software manufacturer for a Windows Vista™ capable version. Method 3: If System Restore did not resolve the issue, manually modify the registry.
  1. From the Windows Vista default Start menu, point to All Programs, Accessories, and then click Run.
  2. In the Run dialog box, type: Regedit. Click OK.
  3. In the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.
  4. In the Registry Editor window, locate and then click to select the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Control/Class/{4d36e965-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}
  5. From the File menu, click Export.
  6. In the File name dialog box, type: Savedkey, and then click Save.
  7. Click the REG_MULTI_SZ data type UpperFilters file, and then from the Edit menu, click Delete. When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes.
  8. Click the REG_MULTI_SZ data type LowerFilters file, and then from the Edit menu, click Delete. When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes.
  9. In the Registry Editor window, from the File menu, click Exit.
  10. Shut down Windows® and restart the computer.
Thanks and regards,

Can't run downloaded programs, open user accts,or some services.

check to see if your on the administrator account. it could be something on your computer preventing you from using doing anything like that or could be the local policies that have changed. Try saving the downloaded programs onto the desktop and then just go to the desktop and try to run it from there
