You may have un-installed sound software possibly if there is no sound icon to your right lower on the desktop then you did or a red cross is checked or it is muted make sure it is not muted. Then if this does not work try re-installing the sound software that came with your computer or card. If you do not have the driver for it follow below this is just what I do and it works for me. Be careful what you are taking out of your computer in the future.
btjunkie.org is my resource for all of my XP drivers I answer this question a lot from folks that need drivers. If you can I suggest upgrading anyway to Win 7 they are downloaded mostly for you during the install process which makes it a lot easier these days to fix machines. Less time in any event go to that site make sure that you have U torrent a torrent file down-loader program software. Type in the search box once at the btjunkie site XP drivers you will have thousands of them to download on one disk insert the disk then go to devices seek the drivers needed to be found point the seek to your drivers disk and hopefully it can be had. I never have an issue with drivers using the software downloaded from there site. I hope this assists you. It is also for those of you who read this post to keep your driver files with your purchase when you bought the computer. If this is not the case then you will have to hunt them down. John

Laptop now always starts in safe mode since downloading a game off the internet

Could be a virus, especially if you obtained this from an unreliable source (we have all done it)!
I'd first of all download this little programme, free to home users and very very good.

http://www.freedrweb.com/cureit/?lng=en

Install to a USB pen drive or similar, boot the laptop in safe mode and run it. Once run and any virii found are deleted, run again setting the scan path to C:/.

Check and kill any virii found

Now delete your sytsem restore points ( the viruses if found will be backed up there).

Reboot and you should get into normal boot

If the above fails to fix this, (ie no virii found) the programme you installed has damaged your settings. In which case, first of all, go to MY Computer / Right click on hard drive/ properties / tools and run a disc check on reboot

Reboot and try again

If that fails, you will need to install the OS and do a repair

If THAT fails, you will need to do a full install

This application has failed to start because libtidy.dll was not found.

A simple soloution that should work is to find/download and install the dll to the correct folder. Dll's in windows are located in my computer>c>windows>system32

Here is a link to the dll download. http://dllcentral.com/libtidy.dll/

One you download it simply place it in the system 32 folder and your application should work!

Hope this helps!

S30 3d - free update - utterly useless

sounds like your install/setup is got its pants stuck.

The best solution is to reinstall programme or repair option, then uninstall completely, reboot, reinstall connect navman and you should get a result.

The download is probably speed specific - ie will only be good if it get to run at the correct speed.

Try to download it all first.

the best site i found

I have no sound on GEForce 7050M-MV2.0 I run

Hi,

Need to cross check some points:

-> check if Realtek already installed in Add/remove Programmes ( can be some CMI entry and Broadcom entry)

If yes->

Start Windows in safe mode.

-> Ignore (cancel) all “found new hardware” prompts

-> Uninstall Realtek(CMI) and Broadcom applications from Add/Remove Programmes

Reboot into normal mode… ignore all found new hardware prompts again

run the driver CD again for both.

I Hope it will work.
