Question about 3dfx Voodoo2 1000 (12 MB) Graphic Card
Hi please help-i still cant access my notebook-the power on password is still comming up-is there another way of removing/bypassing it??please help
Or... here is a solution that actually works:-
Remove battery, Remove HDD remove ram flap and DIMM.
Flip over laptop, remove keyboard (little switch things on the top row, remove the ribbon and take out keyboard, remove the other DIMM, remove the little CMOS battery, leave for a good 45mins.
45 Mins later:-
Plug keyboard and the DIMM under keyboard back in, (NOT CMOS BATTERY) turn on, should say something bout no boot device. turn off, put back together, voila.

Here is a link to download a file to flash your BIOS that will make the password go away.
You will need an external USB Floppy Drive since im assuming you cannot get into windows from your laptop.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
