Question about Indesit 24 in. D61 Free-standing Dishwasher

1 Answer

Strange behaviour! Hi. Our machine has been unused and plumbed in since we moved into the property (18mths ago) and not required its services until recently. After filling with appropriate rinse aid, salt etc.. We choose the appropriate cycle [1. Intensive or 2. Normal], turn on and after approx. 10 seconds the cycle stalls and we hear a continuous ticking sound..!?  We open the door and everything is bone dry! Has any body experienced the same problem? Many thanks

I think it has to do with a faulty program disc. it can't switch to the next program phase. try turning it a bit.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Bernina Record 730 - made in 1965ish. Recently he has started sewing very slowly although the bobbin winder worked normally. We cannot find out why this is happening.

Oh, no! Do NOT give up on your oldie but goodie! The symptoms are common with older mechanical machines. These machines are wonderful and deserve to be given another chance. Most often, the old oil solidifies and causes the moving parts to seize. With persistence, patience, and a couple of very simple supplies, many of these machines are happily sewing again. The secret is a combination of Tri-Flow and heat and making sure that "all" the moving parts get lubed, even the stitch levers and dials. I have resurrected several older Berninas using the following technique. Several completely seized machines required multiple repetitions over a period of days. If the machine does not have any cracked gears, most likely it can be made worthy again and make your grandmother proud that she gave you such a lasting, wonderful gift.

Resist the temptation to try to run the motor until the machine has gone through a thorough "treatment" and is moving freely manually. Once the machine is moving freely, you will rejoice at the happy and satisfied sound it makes!

Good luck with your lovely!

Hi, i have a zanussi timeline 1400 washing machine.. I have recently moved house, and when i went to use the washing machine after plumbing it in, it now says E51 error on the screen.. What is the cause of...

the E51 "motor power triac short circuited" could be a fault on one of the PC boards as triacs are usually on printed circuit boards. This could have blown due to a short circuit somewhere else (like the motor for example) - I would advise that an engineer is required if you can't see anything obvious with the motor.

I dont recieve my txt messages untill 2 hours later

Hi Crazy Rusty,
this probably has something to do with your service provider. sometimes service providers are extremely busy and needs time to process the txt or calls.
perhaps it may be the problem within your phone, try deleting unused messages in your inbox and out box to speed things up.
if this has never happened before and just recently then it must be an issue with your service provider, so you would have to wait for the mean time.
i hope this helps, good luck!

Reg has not been in use for 18mths i want to use

the backup battery has lost its charge, causing the machine to loose it's data. you will need to check the battery, recharge it, then reprogram all data back in the machine.

hello! what likely happened to your bread machine is after a year of being so unused,it became rusty already..and that makes a grinding sound possible since the gadget itself was not used for along time and some of the parts are already malfunctioning smoothly.

P.S. kindly rate this..lots of thanks!
