Gigaware webcam not working on my microsoft vista computer

is it a USB webcam or is it an internal webcam on your computer?

go to settings->Control panel->Audio devices->Voice and there choose your mic

You can use a program like Nero, Imgburn, Roxio, or any other program that deals with iso images. Burn the cd, install the driver, and then start using your webcam!

Well the gigaware cameras are not made for vista.. but will work if you just play with it.

I would suggest
unplug camera.
restart PC
after the PC has finished booting and is done loading your personal profile

{some computers take 5 min to finish loading all your setting and starting programs}
so give it a few min

plug in camera and walk away
DO NOT TOUCH YOUR PC

let Vista find the camera on its own... do not force.

It should find it and tell you that it has found it and if it found software for it.

give it 5 min

Hopefully that takes care of your issues..

FYI Not all Vistas can run XP software
only PRO and Ultimate are truly XP compatible
