I have one of these, the cruiser version with passenger seat. It was a take apart nearly everything situation to get to the battery. on the right side of the motorcycle (throttle side) you should find two very small screws. remove these. I the cover should come off. If it doesn't come off easily, loosen the kick stand plate a bit. Inside you will now find the clock back. two small screws. remove them and the cover and you should be able to get at the battery. good luck

Minute hand on Braun AB1A has curved up stopping second hand

The whole front square face of the clock has 4 little nails which are located in the middle of each side (inside and next to the edge of the joint), so you have to carefully insert a screwdriver and lever the front out. After this you have to remove the hands (remember to set the clock and alarm hand to 12:00 before taking those away). The face will be loose, and you'll have access to the mechanism. Clean the alarm contact (look for a double silver metal arm that touches an small bronze stick. Alarm button can be release by gently lever the little nail that shows in the center when button is up at clock's backside.

How do I change the battery on fossil motorcycle clock?

You will need a very small (watch or glasses) Philips head screwdriver, and a SR626SW (or know as a 377) watch battery.
Remove screw 1 to remove the motorcycle back cover.
Remove the other 2 screws to take off the clock backing.
Remove the white plastic ring by pulling directly up.
Remove the battery.
Put the new battery in.
Press the white plastic ring back on.
Reassemble the clock backing with the two screws.
Reassemble the back of the motorcycle with screw 1.

I bought a silver jewelry polishing cloth. Can it be cleaned?

No if you wash it you will ruin it, the black is just Silver Oxide and will not affect the way the cloth cleans the Silver. Just wipe the residue of the Silver being polished.

Sterling silver is tarnished, how do i get the black off it?

Easiest way is to but some "Brasso" from your local hardware store, or even Walmart. pour some on an old tooth brush and work it on there, being careful not to get it inside the watch, it may take some work, but it will take off the tarnish. Also, if you have any tooth paste, go ahead and use that, however, it should be PASTE, not GEL, since the gel does not contain abrasive.
if this is a pocket watch, you can remove the movement of the pocket watch. After you open the watch, being careful not to adjust anything by accident. Locate the 2 or 3 screws that are used to hold in the movement, remove the screws, put the movement in a safe place.
Get a small glass bowl, line it with tin foil (shiny side up) , sprinkle 2 tbsp. baking soda on the tin foil. place the watch case directly on the tin foil/baking soda. slowly pour vinegar over the watch case. it will create a lot of bubbles, and make it shiny and new!
*Don't do this to any watch unless the movement is out of the case.

I just purchased a Heritage Mint Ltd Timepiece Quartz Regulator wall clock but it chimes two hours slower than the actual time. Need to know how to correct it. There is a red push button on the back of...

I have the same clock. Here's what I did to re-set it after changing batteries: After replacing batteries, use the turn dial to set the correct time. Press the RED button 6 times, wait for it to go through that series of chimes, then press the button again to set the time.
Example: Press RED button 6 times. Wait for it to chime. Press RED button the correct number of times for the hour to be set. For 5:00, press the button 5 times, etc.
I lost the directions to my clock, and I am posting this from memory and also just had to re-set mine and it works OK now.
Hope this helps!

What job of the number around a clock

Hour, minutes and second hands tell the time in relation to the day time light through until dark. The small round clock perform a similar function only that the grade meters appear different describably. The small clocks measure time by assuming the time in four quadrants of fifteen minute intervals where each intervals on the quadrant is symbolic of North East South and West as in compass directions. Every fifteen minute of the small clock indicate being within a compass measure zone tchnical measure of time of day in relation of geographic direction. Unlke telling the time with the big clock without consideration of the situation of the timer teller. The small clock is designed to tell the time in reference to the direction of the time teller, a feature which would have required compus together with ordinary watch to ascertain what the small clock attempt to provide all in one watch.

mcdevito75 here, A brand new Timex quartz watch will come with a small piece of plastic just under the crown to keep the battery form working the watch, simply remove this small piece of plastic from under the stem (winder) push the stem in and your Timex will work. If your timex is push button you may have to hold down the Mode 2--3 seconds to see display.
