I have had my YP-K3 for about a month now,it was working fine. One day i transferred an audio book from an Mp3 cd and it went on fine with no problems. i then safely removed it from my pc,tried turning it on and nothing happened, it charged on the computer perfectly and i could even put new music on it. it seems to work fine on the comp (Windows Vista) but it just wont turn on. Help plz?

SOURCE: how can i transfer files from pc to yp-k3

If you have Windows Media Player, just plug it in using the proprietary usb cable, and it should show up in Media Player. Click the Sync tab, and simply drag and drop.

SOURCE: transfering music

Download LimeWire or FrostWire (i prefer frost.) and download all the songs you want. Its very simple to use, so dont need to go into detail for that. Than (assuming you have a windows computer) open up 'Windows Media Player' and on the top tabs click 'Sync'.
Dont minimize, but make the FrostWire window small, but where you have all your downloaded music click/drag-able. highlight all songs/media pieces and drag them to the sync playlist on the right side of Windows Media Player. Click Start Sync and wait a bit.
That should solve your problem mredmarin. Let me know if it did!
Have a good day :)

I bought a new CD and tried putting the songs from the CD on to my MP3 player. I am able to transfer the files onto the device but when I turn on my Samsung YP-K3, the songs are not on there. Why do they...

If you have windows media player then all you need to do is insert your YP-K3 into the computer then windows media player will show you a bunch of options for your MP3 click what ever suites you. Then rip the C.D to the windows media player. Then click and drag the songs if you want all of them click the first one press shift down on your keyboard then stop when you have all the songs you want then click and drag to the right hand side where it has your YP-K3

I like to transfer audio book files to my samsung, however almost every time the transfer connection is lost and I have to unplug it and start over.

See dude a mp3 player is made for playing small length songs and its not able to read the audio book files as it cant sustain them.
Thanks

No sound out of yp k3

If there is no sound from the headphones when you have turned the volume up to the maximum then there is something wrong with the hardware. You wont be able to fix this. If under warranty then you will have to return it to be fixed or replaced.
