First open the PCSX folder then you should see another folder inside of it called memcards. Open the memcards folder and make sure there is nothing inside of it. If there is ANYTHING inside of it, delete all the data.

Next open PCSX2 or PCSX2T (whichever you were using) and go to Config then Memcards. You'll see two memory card windows. One will say Memory Card 1 one will say Memory Card 2. You'll see three buttons below for each memory card. If there is ANYTHING in the large white windows (wich there should not be if you followed my previous directions) delete it by clicking whatever is in the white window and click the Format MCD button. Do this untill there is nothing in the Memory Card 1 window and Nothing in the Memory Card 2 window. If there was nothing in those white windows when you first opened it then you're fine, click OK and try to play your game again.

When loading a game an error comes up "saved data appears to be damaged" then we hit "ok" and error "unable to save data if you continue without loading" apperars. Any ideas how to clear this

I would go into the system settings and move the saved game data to a memory card if possible. Otherwise delete it. Basically you are moving it so it can force it to make a brand new save file that is not damaged.

Memory Card Corrupted

you cannot save another file until you delete previous one.Corruption occurs if the memory card is removed from console or if you reset the game while saving or loading game remember this also happens when you are saving or loading game and electricity turns off.

Memory Card Corrupted

These cards have become so cheap it would be better just to buy a new one and use that as backup for the non corrupt data.

Corrupted Data on PS2 memory card

I don't know if you have been trying to delete the data with a game inside the ps2, but in case you have, try this.

Turn on the system WITHOUT a game inside, select BROWSER, the MEMORY CARD ICON, and i believe the corrupted data icon is a grayish black square. Choose options and then delete.
I am also heard that inserting a music cd will work as well, probably just has to not be a game inside the ps2.

Corrupted data comes from turning off the ps2, or removing the memory card while the game loads or saves data to/from memory card.
I really hope that helps, ps2's are meant to be played! Good luck.

How do I access the memory card (pack)?

Greetings,
The way to access the data on an n64 memory card is to plug it in to the controller, hold down the start button on the controller and turn on the system. Then you should be able to delete the data from the menu that comes up. Hope I was not to late with the info.

Ps2 memory card

My memory card has been doing that too. It's either your memory card has gone bad or your ps2 memory card slots is fucked up

How do i fix my ps2 memory card

Hi Andrew555,

You will see two screws or so that hold the memory card together.  open the case of the memory card, The circuit board is probably slid back and not being held forward so that it inserts fully into the card reader on the PS2. Sometimes, the retianer that keep the memory Circuit board forward breaks, and you will have to use your ingenuity to figure a way to keep the circuit board pushed forward.

Nintendo wii memory card doesn't read

the wii will store gamesaves on itself, there is nothing to worry about, if you want to transfer or store certain game data, drag gamesaves to the SD card (wii memory card) using data management in the wii settings menu.
