Fuji finepixs FinePix A400 says card not initilized HI, I have been using my camera Fuji finepixs A400 for 2 yrs. Then suddenly it pops up with "card not initlilized".
Find the Software disk for the PC and install it. Make sure the camera is off, then connect the usb cable. Then turn the camera on in the playback mode.
You need to to several things it seems. 1. 'I Need Help' is no title it tells me nothing. How do I load pictures into my computer[for example does] Also and very important What Camera make Model
2. You do not need the CD at all- they are best left in the box.
3.. If you have a Windows PC- then no CD is required Windows can do it all. Plug the camera in to the computrer, make sure the camera is set to up load [Read the Manual] and let Windows carry on from there.
4. If you have difficulty getting to comupter to 'rread' the camera invest in a USB card reader.
This is a common problem with this camera and it needs to be sent back to Fuji for repair.I've been through it three times and then they replaced the A350 with an A400 and now I'm having the same problems with the A400.
They want to swap it with a E500.
Both of these replacements are less of a camera then the A350.
If they won't repair it under warranty I suggest you stay away from Fuji cameras in the future,I know I will never buy one again
