First, you can access Facebook Account Login Page by directly typing www.facebook.com in to address bar of firefox. The page should load easily. If not, I suspect slow internet connection. Make sure that other sites are opening properly. Also, try Internet Explorer or any other Internet browser (for the time being). Check if you can login to your account from some other PC. I think that you ID is intact as you are experiencing problems before logging into your account. (In case the ID is stolen, facebook would not accept the password)
I suggested that as a security measure, you may change your password when you get access to your account.
Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required. Hope it helps! Good Luck! Don't forget to convey your feedback CreativeTECH
Connect your router to any of your laptop/desktop through LAN cable and launch internet explorer. Type the IP address 192.168.2.1 in Address space and press enter. You will be asked to enter user id and password. Generally, user is admin and password may be admin or password. Once you log in, just search for the mac filter option and disable it. You are done now.

1 Using Internet Explorer as your browser, open up Internet Explorer 8
Once open and completely loaded, click on the "Safety" menu at the top of the page.
Check the box next to: "Temporary Internet Files and History"
Click the "Delete" button.
Wait for the computer to completely process this, and once it finished, you're courser should return and you can close out of the "Safety" menu and resume your activity.
KEEP IN MIND:
* A new feature available to Internet Explorer Version 8 is the InPrivate securty mode. This consists of three features that are called: InPrivate Browsing, InPrivate Blocking, and InPrivate Subscription. When these are enables, IE8 will not save browsing and searching history, cookies, form data and password. In addition, it will AUTOMATICALLY clear the browser cache for you as well.
To get my connection to work, I had to configure my Netopia DSL modem for Bridged Mode and let my router take care of the routing and address assignment. I would also try to get a working connection before configuring security. You can always do that later. You have the order of powering up you equipment correct. Read this link. It works for me.
a. Please open any web browser like Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. b. Connect to the router by typing http://routerlogin.com/basicsetting.htm or http://192.168.1.1 in the address field and click Enter or Return key. c. A window will prompt for a user name and password. The default username is "admin" and the default password is "password".
Note: If it does not take password as the password, you might have changed it when you have run the NETGEAR Setup CD so please try other passwords. If you cannot remember the password, you need to reset the router and run the Setup CD to reconfigure it.
