Hi
They may have been provided with a cd - you will need to use this first before they work. If not make sure that the reciever is plugged in, that the keyboard and mouse are charged up and have been switched on.

Next go to the device manager (Right click my computer>>>'manage', device manager is on the left) then at the top select 'scan for hardware changes.' The computer should find and install the mouse+keyboard and install them.

Hopefully this will solve your problem. If not you may want to contact the manufacturer/store you bought them from or you could post another question here with any extra information.

Good luck!
Philip

You can download any Logitec software needed from the manufacturer's site. The mouse and keyboard will automatically be recognized by Windows, though.

No instructions found.

I have same mouse. First make sure that you removed a small plastic that prevents battery (in mouse) to make contact and that you use the correct polarity for the battery. Connect the usb receiver to pc wait for the pc to recognise the devise and push the power button below the mouse. That should do it. I had no problem with any windows or linux distributions of any kind. If that doesn't helped maybe your mouse is not working correctly and you should turn it back and ask for replace! Hope that helped!

Wireless keyboard and optical mouse

Thanks! I fixed the problem by installing a USB mouse and using fn+f9. That unlocked the mouse so I could use the pointer leaving just the keyboard problem. I then tried reconnecting the wireless keyboard (by using the button on the receiver and under the keyboard) Hey Presto!!

Logitec Wireless keyboard and mouse

essense702,
I presume the batteries were in correctly.
did you connect them when the computer was off, and let windows find them on bootup.
Also, make sure that you follow directions on how to get them to connect. And, make sure you run the cd that came with it.
