Check that the drivers for your modem is installed,
start / right click computer and choose properties then device manager,,

yellow highlighted componets means that there is an error

If its not install install them, If you need to and dont have the drivers, you can use a program like driver magician to download them for you or give you the hard ware make and modle in which case you can google them

if it is installed then you may need to setup the modem, go into the control panel and select Modems or Dialing devices then add,'
select the modem you want installed and thats it.

The tel 1 and 2 buttons are flashing green along with stand by. The phone line has no dial tone and its busy when we call the line..

When the tel light blinks this indicates that the line is in use. To trouble shoot this issue you will need to connect a phone directly to the tel 1 port of your modem. If you have dial tone when directly connect that means that there is an issue with the internal wiring of the home. If you still do not have any dial tone with the phone directly connect than there is an issue with the modem and it needs to be replaced.

I hope that information above has helped is some way.
If possible please rate this solution.

Trying to connect to internet but screen says internal modem has no driver - it sees no modem

If you're compuer is connected to a router or DSL/Cable modem through Ethernet connection, you don't need to have to use internal modem. Internal modem are just for dial up connection.

If everytime you launch IE browser and it gives you that prompt, your browser may have set up to connect everytime to a dial up connection. Try to check these settings on your IE:

1. Go to Start> Settings> Control Panel> Internet Options
2. On Internet Options, go to Connections tab.
3. Delete everything under Dial Up and Virtual Private Network Settings, Or just set it to 'Never Dial A Connection'.
4. Click on LAN Settings button.
5. On the next window, uncheck everything (particularly the proxy setting).
6. Click OK all the way out.

Dial-up: Internet Connection

do your pc have a dial-up modem card?
What's the brand? Go to download the latest driver for the modem and try and see.

If not, right click on my computer icon, go to hardware tab, select "device manage", see does it detect any modem driver or not.

If after installing the driver still the same and can't be detected, most properly your modem is going to "heaven".....

Try to change another modem, see whether it can work or not.
