umm if I understand correctly you want one document printed same document on both sides select double side printing the where it ask for how many copies you want send to or how many of the documents you want in increments of two ex. 2=1 double side copy,4=2 double sided ,6=3double sided
It was the same problem. To enable drop down menu open "Device Option" tab where you will see list: Duplex Non Instaled Tray2 Not Installed Tray3 Not Installed ......... Just double click on "Duplex Not Installed" and it will changes on "Installed" and Double sides drop down menu become active.
In the Scan New Document dialog box, select the options you want.
To select additional scanning options, click Preset options, and then click either Create new preset or Edit selected preset.
If you want to scan a double-sided page, select the Original is double sided check box.
Click Scan.If you selected the Original is double sided check box, the Scan New Documentdialog box reappears as necessary.
If you selected the Original is double sided check box or the Prompt for additional pagescheck box, click Done to save the file after the last page is scanned.
Note By default, OCR is performed automatically when you scan documents. To turn off this feature, click Scan New Document on the File menu, and then click eitherCreate new preset or Edit selected preset. On the Processing tab of the Preset Options dialog box, clear the Use OCR to recognize the text of the scanned imagecheck box. Hope this helps!!! Please rate my response!!
I am going to assume you have a document feeder (ADF) on the copier.
Insert originals into document feeder and press the 1-1 simplex button on the LCD screen. If have single page documents that you want to turn into double sided documents then select 1 - 2 button. If you have double sided originals already and want to make double sided copies then select 2 - 2 button. Then hit the green copy start key...done.
you copy first side normaly. then on left side open bypass deck.Put the paper, so that the side on wich you want to print is down. Automatically when you put paper in bypass, the machine ask you wich format is it ( eg. A4 ), confirm with OK, then you need to tell machine wich type of paper ( eg. plain paper ) and OK. then green copy key.
In the middle of the main screen (in copy mode) there is a big button called "simplex 1 to 1" or it may say "duplex". on the next screen you'll see different ways to do duplex copies. if you have a double sided original then select 2 to 2 / if you have 2 single side originals then select 1 to 2. Place originals in the document feeder and press start
