You're not trying to burn the pictures to your 'MyPictures' thing.

close that and go get the EasyShare disc, your EasyShare Kodak camera (i hope) and your transfer cord

Plug your transfer cable into the camera from the small end, and the large end into the USB port of your computer. This allows the computer to recognize the camera and begin building adapters for it.

Insert the disk for the Kodak Easy Share program into your disk drive. Go to your "Start" button and hit "Run." This will bring up a window allowing you to choose the letter of your disk drive to find the file to run. Your computer may have Autorun, so it is possible you do not have to follow this step. If you do not have Autorun, click on the letter of your drive and choose the "Easyshare.exe" file when it populates. Then hit "Run" on the bottom of the window to continue.

Click on "Next" on your Install Wizard when it begins. This sets up the program to be used if you do not already have it on your computer. Click "Next" on all following boxes, as this gives you the basic set up and files needed to run the program.

Wait for the program to begin. Once it has populated the window with a gray Kodak Easy Share block at the top of the window, you are ready to begin. Click on "Add Pictures" on the top left corner of the window. A new window will generate. Go down to the last half of the window on the left and click on the Kodak Easy Share file. This is where your pictures are being taken directly from your camera, which is the drive or USB port it is connected to.

Choose on the next box the folder you wish to save your pictures under. You can opt to leave it in the Easy Share folder, or to rename the folder for the type of pictures you are uploading. If you have wedding pictures, you could right click on the folder and hit "Rename." Then type in "Wedding Pictures" and click anywhere on the screen. This will save your folder name.

Delete the pictures from the camera after they upload is an option you can choose to click on if you want your camera erased when the pictures are done. If you want this, click the box next to the "Delete From Camera" option under the folder name area. When you are ready to upload, click "Done" in the bottom left corner of the window. Now you have uploaded your pictures to your computer and cleared your camera.

I have a Kodak Easyshare c913. My computer does not have a place for memory card. When I try transfering with it plugged in, not all the pictures transfer. Why?.

Hi there! What method are you using to transfer photos when you connect your camera to the computer? Does a Kodak program open up automatically and start doing it for you? If this is the case, it is possible there is a setting in it that only transfers the most recent photos--ones that have not been transferred before.

I would recommend using the Windows tool. It should automatically pop up when you connect your camera, and ask what you want to do. Choose "Open folder," as shown below. Once the folder opens, you can highlight all of the files and copy them, then paste them into a folder on your computer (I would recommend making a new folder under My Pictures). This method is basically treating your camera's memory card as an external hard drive--you are controlling what gets transferred, rather than letting a program try and guess for you.

I hope this answers your question!

Have transferred pictures from camera to kodak easyshare . how do i now transfer from kodak easyshare to a cd? thanks a. l. brooks sbackrx@grceba.net

On the newer versions of Easyshare
7.0 up to 8.0
there is an option to CD/DVD Burn

Just simply insert the CD on your Computer and Put the pictures you wanna burn on the Picture Tray<right side pane on easyshare>
Click on the icon for CD Burn

If you have a lower version of Easyshare

visit www.kodak.com/go/easysharesw
you can download the latest version from there
but before downloading it
make sure you remove your current version
so it will not conflict with each other

goodluck...

Putting pitures on to computer

Drag pictures from kodak easyshare program to your "pictures" folder.
You can also bypass the easy share program and go to "my computer" than find the drive that has your camera and open it. Now you drag drag these pictures to your "pictures" folder under my documents or wherever you store them

Loading pic to cd

The answer depends partly on your operating system, and how you want to store the picture(s).

If you're using Win XP, for example, you need a CD Burning program such as Nero or Roxio. Windows' packaged burner doesn't easily allow you to add more pictures later.

With your camera attahced to the computer via the USB cable, turn the camera on, then start your CD burning program. Search until you find the "removable drive" named "Kodak EasyShare", then click on the top folders in each folder list until you get to where your pictures are.
