I found out that the phone i have will not connect with my navman S50. I tried a couple of other phones and it worked without a hitch. All i wanted to do was confirm that the bluetooth function on my navman was working. Thank you.

Fatal error on Navman S50

you will need to do a firmware revision update by first downloading the latest software for your device from this link http://www.navman.com/in-car/3294/Australia/Old-content/11816/11607/69895/ then doing a complete reload of map software and firmware after registering the device with navman.

if this answers your problem please rate my answer accordingly.

Thanks

The maps for Australia are distributed Via Navman and are Polstar. But no other maps for other brands aree compatible as they are all re jigged to only work o0n the brand of GPS's format.

Navman is distributed via **** Smith and Harvey Norman So if you dont get satisfaction from the Navman site ask the satff at one of these distributors how to purchase new maps.

No maps are free either.

WOULD LIKE TO GET MY ZTE MOBILE PHONE WITH BLUETOOTH TO CONNECT TO MY NAVMAN B 80

I have been able to pair the navman with nokia, samsung, and sharp phones, but I haven't been able to pair the ZTE 252 with the navman. Personally I think this is due to it being a cheaply manufactured phone.
