Well, I know it's nothing to ignore, SRS is your
supplemental restraint system (air bags) and
Honda is really your best be to deal with it. Heard
there might a recall on some model years so check
with them.

Hello leo, the SRS light will need to be reset. The code set after the battery died most likely.
The shop will charge about 95 dollars to do it. Or, you can do it your self with a screwdriver and a couple of paper clips. Follow these steps if you want to save some money, it works & is safe if you do it as described and illustrated...i hope this helps.

SRS light on my dash board of 94 honda civic ??

Try his from someone that had the same problem...
"I have the same SRS light problem. Comes on when I start the car and stays on the whole time. I called American Honda (1-800-999-1009) and gave them my VIN number. Apparently there is a warranty extension: 10 yrs or 157,500 miles, whichever comes first on the OPDS (occupant position detector sensor) unit or OPDS sensor which can cause the SRS light to come on. Going to take it to a Honda dealer next week. If that is the problem then it will be fixed for free. If not I have to pay for the diagnosis fee which is about $100 and then however much it cost to fix the problem."
