Problem with Tomtom One Alternate Mount Kit Mounting Unit for Use with One Family (0636926016360)

Tomtom One attachement to the alternate mounting kit

OK This can't be rocket science but I can't figure it out and there are no instructions with the kit. How does the Tomtom actually attach to the mounting plate from the alternate kit.

    • Actually, this *is* rocket science. None of the mounts provided in the TomTom alternative mount kit come close to fitting my TomTom ONE. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated (unless they involve duct tape).

I just hung up with TOMTOM support. If you have the first edition TOMTOM you need the EZ Port Mount Kit for the 1140, 1140S, XL340 or XL340s. Not it isn't rocket science, but it would have been nice to have clear compatability information on the box. Hope this helps.
