Question about Samsung Digimax A7 Digital Camera
After a year of using my didi cam, when I take pictures they look whitely blurred . Seems like there's so much sunlight on the picture. The video is fine no problem at all. But it was not like this before for outdoor pictures. When I zoom in the picture there are horizontal lines on it. A technician from our place said it's the flex cable for the zoom that has the problem. I want to know the cause for this problem. Anyone who can help me with this? Thank you. My Digimax A7 (have a year and a half now) doesn't seem to work outdoors - picture looks white and way overexposed. Now, when I either use zoom while taking photo, and also when cropping photo later, I get horizontal lines, darker as I zoom in. I thought it might be only on the display, but they appear on the photos as well. This has just happened for the last 20 pictures or so. This is my first step regarding the problem.
Here's a picture of the camera outdoors.
you will see horizontal lines on the lighter part of the picture then fades on the way down. if the horizontal lines get CLEARER and that there are also lines on the darker part of the capture, this CAN be caused by a loose or faulty CCD, flex cable, or even the shutter. if there is a feature like anti tremor or focus assist and they did not work, then it could be one of the hardware components i mentions

The Digimax A7 Doesn't work outdoors, because on top of the camera, try taking a picture, but hold your hand on the top of your camera (Cover it) it's light sensitive. On top their is a built in sensor, the Darker it is the darker the picture is, the lighter, the lighter. If you cover it, (Usually on top) It should work fine outdoor, just don' t cover it indoor. Hope this helped. -CA
