Hi, I have Panasonic KX-TG 5776S Cordless phone. I have a strange problem, my phone s base unit no longer responds to any key actions. It displays the number '8' on the display. My handset also does not register with the base unit as i am not able to press the intercom button to make it register.

This all happened after the messages overflowed in its memory. Pls help

Record message on panasonic phone

The KX-TGA101S is just the handset. The message is handled by whatever base or answering machine you have on your phone line. Please refer to the manual for the base/answering machine.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post and specify the model of your base or answering machine.

My answering machine dont work i try to leave my voice on all head set but when i call the number not working will not pick up voice message.

The model is KX-TGA101CS. The answer light start to blink quickly when I try to record a message directly on the base. Then I need to disconnect the power cord to reset. If I try by the handset, I don't have the access by the menu.
Is it possible to reset the answer fonction ???
My email is ylafor@groupepaco.com

On my TG 2740 Panasonic base unit the 'answer on' light blinks constantly and 'all mail box full' is blinking also but there are only 17 messages. How do I clear the blinking light and the all mail box...

If mail box is full, you cannot record any more messages, and the answering machine is practically useless. You must clear some messages.
Try playing the messages one by one. While a message is being played hit the Erase button. If that works, repeat with every unimportant message.

Most cordless telephone answering machines have a maximum of 14 minutes recording time. You can restrict the length of messages people are allowed to leave. Most default options are 1min or 4 minutes. Some machines give you the option to select Announcement Only. When this option is selected people hear the announcement but cannot leave a message.

Read you manual for more configuration options.

I have a panasonic Cordless phone and can't remember how to remote access it?

Using the answering system
remotely
1
Dial your phone number from a touch
tone phone.
2 After the greeting message starts, enter
your remote code (page 59).
LThe unit plays back new messages.
LAfter playing back new messages,
the voice guidance starts.
3 Follow the voice guidance as
necessary.
4 When finished, hang up.
Note:
LYou can ignore the voice guidance and
control the unit using remote commands

Voice guidance
During remote operation, the unit’s voice
guidance prompts you to press {1} to
perform a specific operation, or press {2}
to listen to more available operations.
Operations are presented by voice
guidance in the following order:
– Play back all messages
– Play back new messages
– Record your message
– Erase all messages
– Record your greeting message
Note:
LIf you do not press any dial keys within
10 seconds after a voice guidance
prompt, the unit disconnects your call.
LIf less than 3 minutes of recording time is
available, the unit announces the
remaining recording time after the last
message is played back.

Remote commands
You can press dial keys to access certain
answering system functions without
waiting for the voice guidance to prompt
you.
Key Remote command
{1} Repeat message (during
playback)*1
{2} Skip message (during
playback)
{4} Play new messages
{5} Play all messages
{7} Recording a greeting
message

The pre recorded message on the answering machine has been lost.

I read thru the manual. There is nothing bout recovery of factory messages. If you recorded your own, try deleting it. Or unplug the base from power and try a reset. This is from the manual. At the end, I gave you a link to the manual!

Using a pre-recorded greeting
message
If you erase or do not record your own
greeting message, the unit plays a prerecorded
greeting message for callers
and asks them to leave messages. If the
message recording time (page 39) is set
to “Greeting only”, caller messages
are not recorded and the unit plays a
different pre-recorded greeting message
asking callers to call again.

Try this. Erasing all messages 1 Press {ERASE} while the base unit is not being used. LThe unit will announce ?To erase all messages, press ERASE again.? 2 Within 10 seconds, press {ERASE} again. The unit will announce ?No messages?. If there are any further questions or comments, please post here. Please rate this solution through fix-ya.com Thank you
