My Emachine T1150 keeps freezing up when it goes to load windows

Hi,

When you start the system and you system goes to freez while loading window thats means there was a problem with OS,window is currept.you need to ghost means load the new fresh OS.
or if when you install a new window and thats loading time your system goes to freezing mode thats means there was a problem with your bootable CD or CD drive, change it vis a versa worked with another CD & drive and check it .

Thanks,

Problems closing adobe photo shop. it freezes during download of photos from whatever file and then I can't close it.

Try uninstalling Adobe Photoshop ...Then re-installing then see if it works any better....It might also be from having a lot of stuff on your computer. I usually use CCleaner to clean up Temporary Internet Files i do that about 3 times a day...Then of course I use Advance WindowsCare Personal you can look these 2 programs up in Google and they are free and they will help you speed up your computer...This is also another step i tell alot of people to use these 2 programs and it shows results!

HELP

I would check the Ram and CPU. If you can swap the ram you have with good ram, or if you have more than one stick of ram in there take one out at a time to see if thats the problem. Next go into bios and check the CPU temperature after you have been running your computer for a while. The problem with diagnosing this problem is how much time in between freezes. 18 times in 6 months makes it hard to diagnose, because you won't know if you fixed the problem unless it freezes again after you changed something, and even if it does freeze again it could be because of an entirely different problem.
