How far did you dissemble? Cleaning is done with four screws on fan cover and two screws back panel and two screws on top. Reverse the order. Any more problems [email protected]

Why is my fan rattling after I cleaned the unit?

The fan may be on backward or pushed on the shaft too far. Call (336) 499-2505 and they will send you instructions for cleaning and reassembly that explain better than the owner's manual. Tell them you were on Fixya.com.

Ecoquest fresh air not omitting ozone

Did you clean the plate contacts with alcohol? How old is the plate? Is the glue that holds the grid in place turning brown? If it is, it may need to be replaced. Call (336) 499-2505 and ask for free email supplemental cleaning instructions before you do anything else. The instructions may help you solve the problem.

Perform cleaning on EcoQuest Fresh Air won't go away after pushing reset button

If you did not thoroughly clean the contacts for the ozone plate, the "Perform Cleaning" light will not reset.

Fresh air is reading perform cleaning. exactly what does that mean,I cleaned the filter and the plate but it stii reads perform cleaning.HOW

After you have cleaned the filter and plate, reassemble the purifier. Plug it in, turn it on, when the message perform cleaning reappears, press the Reminder Reset button on the purifier to clear the message. Now you are good to go for another 30 days.

Ecoquest Fresh Air Air Purifier turning itself off and on rapidly

There is a problem with the main circuit board. Ecoquest will replace the circuit board. If the Fresh Air is still under warranty you have to pay shipping. If it is not under warranty, you'll have to pay all of the repair cost. You'll need to call to get an RMA number before you send it in, either way.

I am trying the service the filter and change the plate and clean the air filter for the first time. There was not an owners manual in the box when I got it and I figured this was on line, but of course...

Depending on which model you have, this link can be helpful. It is the manual for oneof the newer models of the Fresh Air. http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1677957/EcoQuest-International-Fresh-Air-Owners-Manual.

If you have an older model, email me. I have a pdf. file of the earlier models.
