I have lost my user name and pass word how do I retrive or reset?

The default user name is (admin)
the default Password (Leave Blank)
You will want to reset your router in order to reset to default settings to do that simply press and hold reset button located in the back of the router for 15 seconds or until router resets. You may need a paperclip to access the reset button. Good Luck

you can do the following

1- call you isp (service provider). they can tell you what your user name and password is because they have it on their system.

2- as the someone else has suggested to reset the modem. the problem is though that you loose the modem settings all together. it wipes out all settings and you still need to have your password to setup a connection. so calling you isp would be the easiest way out.

the address to get inside the modem is 192.168.1.1.type it in your browser's address bar. the password to get into the dlink modems are user "admin" and password is also "admin.
