Your modem has reset to factory settings, Go to control panel, select modem options and type in the correct dat that your ISP provider has given you with your subscription. If this fails, it maybe that your modem fried, but highly unlikely.

Acer V223W off center

it happened to me. I changed computers but that did not solve the problem so it's not the video card. what did help was I turned off the monitor to reboot it then, using a different computer I reset the resolution to the lowest possible setting. when the monitor adjusted to the new resolution it reset itself. I then set it back to the higher resolution and everything was centered again.

I have a Full HD LCD LG tv, it is printed on the tv itself that it supports 1080p, but when I plug my PS3 and change the settings to 1080p, the screen goes black for about 5 sec, and comes back for 2 sec,...

Rather than actually trying to set the display resolution up from within the XMB (which does cause come problems) try my guide to reset the display to its highest possible resolution. Make sure only your HDMI cable is plugged in when you do this -

Change the resolution on the cable box or satellite box, witch ever you have. A set by itself cannot change the resolution, if the cable is giving you 720p, that's what you'll see for that station. All stations do not transmit in HD. The best picture is only as good as they're giving you.

Likely, the monitor won't support that resolution--the best answer is to replace the monitor with a new LCD display if you need the increased resolution. That is one of the sad facts of the ever-changing technological improvement (?) that is forced onto us.

Why does my moniter flicker when I run new progams its never ran before?

Those programs may require a certain resolution to display properly. The program will change the resolution and the monitor will automatically reset itself and come back on. Shouldn't be a problem as long as it DOES come back on.

How can I make fonts look good in an LCD monitor ?

The VGA connection should be fine; I have DVI and when I switched from analog, the difference was pretty minimal, to my eyes.

Is it just the fonts that are blurry, or everything? If fonts only, then this almost certainly suggests that running the ClearType tuner again would solve the problem. But this applies to all displays, so if one is good and the other is not, then this isn't it.

If everything is a little blurry, then this suggests one of two problems -- the first, you report trying, which is that the display adapter is set to a different resolution than the native resolution of the LCD monitor itself. Your display adapter should probably be able to drive 2 monitors (the built-in laptop monitor and the external monitor) at once. You should be able to set their resolutions separately.

Assuming Windows XP: Start > Control Panel > Display > Settings > at which point, you should see two monitors listed in a dropdown. Set them to their native resolutions there (using the slider bar, usually all the way to the right), and save.

If you do have the display resolutions set to their native resolutions for both monitors, then it's possible that your external monitor is messed up. A quick test would be to run the on-screen settings, usually from a button on the monitor itself. If what is displayed there is sharp and what is displayed from Windows is not, then this points to a problem with the display driver. If everything, even the on-screen display is blurry, then perhaps the monitor settings are messed up -- usually there's an option to restore to factory settings -- try that.

If that doesn't work, I'm probably out of ideas, unless you have further information.

Selected resolution will not save

You need to change the setting in the Menu of ALL RESET from ON to OFF so that it will retain any setting changes that you make. To do this Press Ok button - right arrow to Mode Menu - down arrow to Setup tab - right arrow to All Reset - right arrow and choose Off and then press Ok. This will retain the mode setting until you manually change it again or change all reset back to On.

Resolution

No, it resets itself because it is an older camera. Most older cameras will, once turned off, return to their original settings.
So, if you want it to be 76 frames, you will have to do that each time you turn on your camera.
