Hi, you would have to go to any place that deals with propane parts, fuel, and everything that has to do with this gas to get an ignitor. I can't give you a exact place, you need to look in the directory to find who deals with this fuel, as they also carry parts.

My 40-FAC heater will not ignite and run. The igniter has been replaced. What should I check next?

These models require electrical power to run the blower fan.
When you connect the electrical cord, the fan should turn on, then you should be able to start / ignite the propane. if the fan does not turn on when you connect the power cord, you will not be able to ignite the propane.

Hearthrite HR-15ML Propane Heater Malfunctioning

Could be dust build-up from the months of inactivity. Try taking a can of compressed air and blow into the ignitor and flame port. If dust is the problem, that should clear it out.

You can try Grainger if there is one near you. If they do not have your part they will usually help you in finding it or them. Little pricey but they can help.

The smell is bad. What kind of venting do I need in the garage for All Pro 50,000-85,000 BTU/HR? Does the bad smell mean I;m in Danger?

If you run a propane heater in an enclosed space, such as a garage, you can pass out and die from carbon monoxide poisoning - as well as just a lack of oxygen from running a high-power propane flame. Yes, I would say you are in Danger.

Pro com propane heaters

The info sheet from Northern Tool says this item is not approved for California. There is no mention about massachusetts but if you go to the procom site and do a search for specifications I'm sure you'll find something. For your information, propane heaters consume oxygen to operate but propane produces one gas, carbon dioxide NOT carbon monoxide [which is poisonous] and water vapor - about one ounce of water in a 24 hr heating period. Also be asvised that co-2 will not support life alone but the concentrations produced are very low. I'm in NY state and I use a MrHeat infrared heater in my house in the winter. My co-2 detector has NEVER tripped on.
